London nightclub Fabric has gone into administration this week.

Edward Symmons has been instructed by David Chubb and Colin Haig, joint administrators at PricewaterhouseCoopers, to find a buyer.

The night club in Farringdon, London, is a leasehold premises and has 24-hour licence and a capacity of 1,510.

Colin White, partner in the hospitality and leisure division at Edward Symmons, said: “Just 24 hours after being appointed, we have already received a number of enquiries from potential purchasers.

“We anticipate continued interest in the sale of Fabric, particularly from other major club operators in London and the south east, and we are confident that a purchase will be secured for the business as a going concern.”

Fabric are yet to comment on the story, but we’re currently talking to with the club to find out what’s happening, and what this means for its future – so keep checking back for all the latest updates.

Today London superclub, Matter, have announced that they will be closing over the summer due to financial issues.

The owners intend to re-launch in the autumn, so we look forward to partying with them again soon.

Glastonbury Festival has revealed the complete line-up for this year’s Dance Village. Having revealed the bill for the main stages a few weeks ago, you can now check out the plethora of artists playing across the Village’s smaller arenas this year. Worthy Farm’s electronic haven has a bigger line-up than most devoted dance music events, with artists from across the spectrum playing the event, which takes place June 23-27.

Joining the classic West Dance, East Dance and Pussy Parlure stages are two brand new arenas. Kicking off the music right across the whole festival on Thursday evening will be the brand new WOW! stage, which with its giant pineapple DJ booth, flamingo sculptures and kitsch tropicalia promises a programme of disco, future-garage, house, dubstep from artists including Joy Orbison, DaM FunK, Jamie Jones and Kode9.

Also new in 2010 is Cubehenge, an iconic outdoor venue constructed from fluoro-lit blocks, which promises sets from likes of Will Saul, Norman Jay, Zero 7 and Ashley Beedle.
